Offering fun for all the family, the Capel Military Show will take place at Aldhurst Farm, Capel, Near Dorking in Surrey on Friday 3rd, Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th July 2026. Capel is easily accessible, positioned roughly 10 miles south of the M25 (JCT 8). Not far from Guildford, the show is signposted from Dorking and Horsham.
Our Crafts Marquee will be prominently placed at the show, and you’ll find a superb range of talented exhibitors and a fantastic selection of unusual products, not to be found “on the high street”. This is a lovely shopping opportunity, in the midst of an amazing show.
As well as our Crafts Marquee, the show is set to be bigger, better and more action-packed than ever before with more of everything you love. Tanks, cars being crushed, big guns being fired, explosive battles being fought and a host of visiting aircraft including the *RAF Chinook.
Set over five event fields is a variety of exhibitors from across the UK and Europe. There’ll be over 800 vehicles and the best of British, German and American re-enactment groups. Ranging from the Second World War right though to modern day, the Show will transport you back in time and take you on a journey through military history.
The Arena fun starts at 10:00 and doesn’t stop until 16:00. Packed with parades of light vehicles, tracks and armour, two battle re-enactments, car crushing and naval gun firing!
There’s a great range of airborne attractions too, with opportunities to meet the pilots. The main helicopter field plays host to static displays which include the *RAF Chinook, *Westland *Alouette, *Gazelle and *Wasp and Project Lynx – XZ179 (*all subject to operational commitments).
The 2026 show includes the largest ever range of stands providing a fascinating variety of crafts and shopping, as well as a fantastic range of vintage and military merchandise. There’s also a tempting array of refreshment stands to keep you going through the day. You can enjoy a wide range of food and drink at the show, as well as plenty of tasty treats to take home. And why not round off the day with a cheeky cocktail at the bar while you enjoy the entertainment?
There’s plenty of fun for the children as well! The children’s entertainment area boasts mini tanks, climbing walls, archery, laser quest, airsoft ranges and inflatables.
To make things easy, there’s free on-site parking, public camping and disabled access.

Directions:
From the north through Capel Village and Vicarage Lane and from the east from the A24 via Misbrooks Road. Traffic from the North is signposted from Dorking along the A24/Horsham Road, turning left onto Temple Lane. Traffic from the South signposted from Horsham along the B2237 to the A24 and Wolves Hill in Capel. Satnav use RH5 5HJ and follow event signage.
